About me

IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY TO SUPPORT AUTUMN RESITS. Qualified and experienced teacher of English Language and Literature. I provide a supportive, collaborative approach to learning, encouraging students to explore and develop their ideas and love of learning and of English. I have been tutoring and home-schooling since 2016, working with a range of students of all abilities and have a consistant record of helping students to achieve target grades or above. All of my 2024 students achieved above their predicted grade. I am an experienced examiner for Cambridge IGCSE (both Language papers and Literature Poetry and Prose), and can offer insight into what examiners are looking for and how to succeed in both IGCSE and other boards, having delivered the syllabus for all major English exam boards. I am passionate about my subject, and students comment that my enthusiasm helps them to engage.
