About me

I am a successful teacher in Early Years and Key Stage One, with particular expertise and interest in teaching phonics and reading, and English as an additional language. I have recently taken early retirement from primary school teaching, and am now tutoring 1:1. My lessons are fun and tailored to the needs and preferences of each child. I have experience working with children with dyslexia and other specific learning needs. I am patient and creative and my main focus is building up each child\'s confidence through a range of practical and fun activities. I also teach adults English as a second or additional language, and adult literacy skills. I work in Southeast London and online.
