About me

I am a qualified teacher with experience in teaching all Primary School year groups in all subjects. I have a good knowledge of schools' expectations for different age groups of children and I know how to access a wide range of up-to-date resources. I have been tutoring full time for four years, as I really enjoy 1:1 teaching, being able to tailor lessons to the children's needs and interests, seeing the huge progress that the children make. I am a friendly, organised and patient teacher. I have experience of supporting the learning of children with Special Educational Needs. I provide professional, personalised learning, using carefully selected resources. I quickly develop rapport with my students and firmly believe in the importance of children's enjoyment of learning. I can help whether children are struggling with basic concepts or working to achieve top grades. I have experience of successfully preparing children for 11+ exams at local schools.
