About me

I have been working in education for 16 years. I specialise in teaching English to children in Key Stage 3 and 4, including those with special educational needs. I believe passionately that learning should be fun for every child. That's why I create bespoke lessons that are tailored to children's individual learning styles to help enhance their skills and unlock their potential. I look forward to those light bulb moments when I help a child to understand something they have previously found puzzling, and see their confidence build. If you are looking for an experienced English teacher who can offer extra support now or in the future, then please don't hesitate to get in touch. Qualifications and experience: Currently an English teacher, a position I've held for the last five years; English Lead Coordinator for the last two years, designing curriculums for seven schools; SENCO assistant for six years.
