About me

Language and Literacy Tutor. As a dedicated and experienced English language and literacy tutor, I specialise in helping young people overcome challenges related to reading, spelling, writing and general communication. My background equips me with the knowledge and skills to address these critical areas. I prepare students for Entry-Level English exams up to Functional Skills level 2 and teach French to beginners. Experience and Expertise: Over the past 18 years, I have dedicated my work to children with hearing loss and speech, language, and communication difficulties. As a qualified teacher and Teacher of the Deaf, I bring both expertise and empathy to my teaching practice. I take time to understand the unique needs of each learner and tailor my approach to suit individuals. Teaching is about fostering confidence, resilience and a positive learning environment.
