About me

Hello everyone! I'm a 40-year-old Qualified Primary School Teacher with many life experiences to boot. I have three children of my own and have a passion for inspiring confidence and instilling a love of learning itself. I completed my degree in Education Studies and continued to teach at a university in Early Childhood and Sociology modules. I am now a class teacher in a primary school based in East London with a large proportion of SEND and have taught across the Early Years and Key Stage 1. I have developed a range of strategies to engage those with a range of needs and pride myself on my ability to think outside of the box and make learning relevant! I currently tutor three children outside my class hours in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6. I have used the White Rose Maths Scheme, Read Write In Phonics Scheme and often adapt these resources to fit the child.
