About me

I am a fully qualified teacher with over eight years of experience working in schools. I love working with children and helping them to fulfil their full potential. To see a child's confidence and belief in their abilities blossom is incomparable. I have held posts such as Head of Year, Reading Subject Leader Team and coordinated the School Council. I took a SEN specialism alongside my PCGE with Essex and Thames Primary SCITT. I have experience in KS1 and KS2, both in a teaching assistant and class teacher capacity and between 2020 and 2022, I completed a part-time Master's in Teaching and Learning, achieving distinction. My dissertation was a study of Reading for Pleasure.
