About me

I have been Head of Science and a senior leader for over two decades in schools across Cheshire West, Shropshire and Wrexham, and since lockdown, I have led vocational Sciences in one of the country's largest FE colleges. I have successfully taught and led across various subjects: A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as BTECs in Applied and Biomedical Science, Human Biology, and Forensic & Criminal Investigation. I have extensive experience of developing award-winning STEM curriculums as well as working with SEN / ALN learners, especially those with ASD and hearing impairments. My degree expertise is in Physiology and Neuroscience. Over many years as head of faculty, I have taught science students to medicine and dentistry entry at university and, more recently, health and social care students for nursing, physiotherapy and paramedic science degrees.
