About me

I have been teaching Humanities, RS and Philosophy across the curriculum for over 20 years and, as a result, am a highly experienced, confident and enthusiastic senior leader. I have been consistently evaluated throughout my career as a Ofsted-rated outstanding teacher who is highly effective at inspiring students and delivering personalised, pupil-centred learning. I have been in middle management as both a Subject Leader of RS/Philosophy, Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay and as a Head of Year, and then Senior Leadership as Head of Sixth Form. My NPQSL focused on increasing Oxbridge applications and aspirations for Higher Education. I also work for the International Baccalaureate Organisation as a Curriculum Developer for Philosophy. I currently work in an independent A-Level school and am Head of EPQ, Universities and Careers and teacher of RS.
