About me

I am a highly experienced and friendly tutor. I currently examine Edexcel IGCSE French-speaking and have marked for other boards. I work with students of all levels from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, including home-educated learners and students with diverse SEN. I have had countless students achieve GCSE Grade A*/9 in languages, both in secondary schools for eighteen years and as a tutor. I am a self-confessed exam geek! I constantly pore over exam papers, finding new ways to help my students learn and boost their grades. I reduce the exam content down to the essential information that the student needs to learn. I quickly identify what a student needs to exceed their target grade and put a bespoke plan into action, whether for a Grade 5 or a 9. I also have several years experience teaching A-Level French, which I love, and tutor KS3 Spanish, German and EFL.
