About me

I currently work as a science teacher, and I have a proven track record of raising student attainment as well as making lessons engaging. I also work as a science tutor in my spare time, three of my most recent students obtained grade 9's in their summer exams. I have high subject knowledge and knowledge of safeguarding and am hardworking and dedicated to helping raise achievement in my students. My specialism is Chemistry which I teach up to A-Level, but I am capable and experienced to teach Biology and Physics up to GCSE level. I have taught across multiple exam boards including AQA, Edexcel and OCR and also have experience teaching the IB specification. I also have experience raising attainment in pupils with SEN needs and attend regular CPD sessions to improve pedagogy in helping SEN pupils achieve.
