About me

I am a working Primary School teacher and a very experienced private tutor. I have over 33 years of classroom experience, working with children from Year 1 to Year 6, with some experience of working in KS3. I offer work in all subjects including Maths and English. I am highly skilled in preparation for tests, exams and 11 plus/common entrance. I love what I do and always have high expectations, teaching with enthusiasm and positivity. I am always determined to build good working relationships with both parents/carers and the students themselves. Throughout my extensive career I have worked with children with a range of needs, adapting my planning, approach and expectations to meet those needs, with fun, encouragement and positivity. I can bring my broad range of experience, gained in both the state and independent sectors, to supporting your child to reach their potential.
