About me

Qualified and experienced Primary school teacher of over 20 years currently tutoring full-time. Experience includes: All key-stages from Early Years, KS1 and KS2, SATs assessment, preparation and teaching, SEN, 11+ tuition. Fully qualified with Bachelor of Education (BA with Hons) and continued professional development accruing further certifications. Specialisms in Primary Maths and English, can teach adult education and ESL/EAL pupils, Primary Science, History to degree level, expertise in required Primary assessment levels and managing behaviour through motivation and reward. Have taken early retirement from the classroom and am really enjoying online tutoring but looking forward to continuing this role with in-person tutoring within the Merseyside area. I am sporty; love dancing, squash, tennis and hiking and am highly motivated, enthusiastic and am a very happy, outgoing person. This is apparent in my lessons and my approach to teaching so my pupils also become enthusiastic and motivated learners.
