About me

When working with me, a tutor who is passionate and empathetic and who knows that each individual learns differently, students will develop their love of learning, improve self-esteem and make excellent progress in a short amount of time. I am a qualified English teacher and Special Educational Needs Coordinator with over 10 years of experience in both state and private sector and I have a proven track record of supporting students to be the best that they can be. My lessons are engaging and individually tailored and have an emphasis on a love of learning. What I enjoy about 1:1 teaching is getting to know individuals and adapting lessons to their passions and interests. It also allows me to work at a pace that best suits your child's learning and establish a meaningful and open dialogue that allows each individual to overcome areas of difficulty or develop areas and strength.
