About me

I am a qualified Primary school teacher with over 20 years experience. I have been doing 11-plus tuition for the past 15 years, offering an individual programme for each pupil based on their strengths and weaknesses. I begin to prepare students for the test in year 4 ensuring they have a sound grasp of core English and maths skills. In year 5 I develop their skills in line with the particular requirements of the test they will be sitting. I also have extensive experience in a wide range of special needs including ADHD, ASD , Dyspraxia and a Diploma in teaching pupils and adults with Dyslexia. I have taught homeschooled children and worked for Kent Health Needs providing tuition for students with a range of health conditions which prevent them from attending school. After each lesson, I provide detailed feedback with homework attached to consolidate the learning in the lesson.
