About me

Qualified and experienced Primary and SEN Teacher, with 17 years\' experience teaching in several counties within the UK, the US, Japan and at a British International School in Qatar. I have also lead an SEN unit within a mainstream primary school and taught ESL students too. I am a strong believer in the idea that children should love and enjoy learning and at the end each day feel an increased level of self-worth, self-esteem and happiness. I am a classically trained South Indian artist (dance) who enjoys planning lessons in a creative way, making learning fun, engaging and meaningful. Being diagnosed with dyslexia, myself made school life challenging for me. I now hold a masters degree in Education; I recently got admission into the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I want to be an advocate for children to show them that they too can reach their potential and succeed.
