About me

As a Mathematics and NVR specialist, I generally prepare children for 11+ entrance/GCSE Maths with a particular focus on identifying gaps in knowledge and offering tailored tutoring to fill those highlighted needs to ensure success. I have a proven track record of building confidence and understanding in my one-to-one sessions, which translates to happier and more successful learners. I believe every child can succeed and be stretched beyond the school learning environment, which is imperative for the 11+, with the right support and targeted intervention. I have helped numerous previous pupils secure offers from SGGS, Alcester, Tommies, Denmark Road and the Crypt. Full assessment - Maths, NVR, verbal, comprehension, synonyms/antonyms - given over first few lessons to highlight target areas based on need/ability to ensure the best use of time and energy. I am familiar with both.
