About me

Qualified and experienced teacher of ICT, Computing, and Physics/Science. I have taught, and been a team leader for a number of years for Computing up to A Level: St. Peter\'s, Bournemouth, South Wilts Grammar School for Girls, Poole High School. My subject specialisms are Computing, ICT and Physics up to A Level. Teaching students from Year 5 to Year 13. I have experience of marking and moderating for OCR exam board at GCSE and A Level and have taught other exam board syllabi. I have tutored students at home who could not attend school, including some with social anxiety or on the Autistic spectrum where their needs are more than normal schooling allows for. I set achievable but challenging short term goals to enthuse. I have also taught ICT at evening classes - \'Computing for the Terrified\'. I am patient, realistic and will work on small steps in order to achieve greater success.
